MAAC - AIR RIFLE FIELD TARGET COMPETITION 11th December 2009

Next Sunday 11th December 2009 MAAC will start rolling with its 2009 activity program.
The first competition is Air Rifle Field Target.

There will be two classes and all will shoot in the same event.
Air Rifle Field Target (ARFT) Competitions.
1. There will be two classes in ARFT.
a. Class A: Springers ONLY up to 15 ftlbs.
b. Class B: PCPs all powers.
(Clarification Recoil and Semi Recoil systems over 15ftlbs will be allowed in Class B)


Only MAAC registered members will be allowed to enter in both classes. Non registered or Non MAAC members will be allowed to enter in one class only. The competition is open to MAAC and Non MAAC members.

One of the rules that will be enforced next sunday is a limited time of 2 minutes per target.
The time will start as soon as the shooter scopes the target. If the shooter exceeds 2 minutes he will be stopped by the RCO and as a result will score score 0 points. Please note we are not going to apply timers or stop watches but shooters that will take longer then normal will be monitored during their shots.

Below you will find the targets and shooting positions assigned for each round. You will have to conduct 3 rounds of 10 targets each. The policy of MAAC for 2009 is to start to apply all international rules and regulations for all the sporting activities were possible.
