MAAC will be adding a new class during Bench Rest Open Competitions. Along with the current two classes AR PCP under 15ftlbs and AR PCP over 15ftlbs we will introduce the Spring air rifle class we will call Spring BR 20. This class will be introduced so that air gunners with spring air rifles will also have the opportunity to introduce themselves to Bench rest and compete. This is not an official ERABSF or WRBSF class. The basic core rules will be the same however the targets used are different more suitable for spring air rifles. Below is the specially designed Spring AR BR 20 target sheet, size A3. Awards will be given to top 3 Spring BR 20 shooters.
Shooting Distance - 15 meters.
Air Rifle - Spring type only.
Scope - Any Magnification.
Rests and Bags - Can be used - AR must not be clamped to rest.
Wind Flags - Can be used.
Target - 1 score card.
Time : 30 min
Socoring : Any ammount of shots on sighters allowed no points.
1 Shot per scoring target.
minimum score per target is 0 (outside the target but in box) max score is 10X (eliminating the center dot).
Score rings 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
Total Maximum Score per card = 200 - 20X
Inward scoring method.
Calibers : 0.177 and 0.22
